Today is the third Sunday of Advent, called Gaudete Sunday. Today we light one more candle on the Advent wreath, the pink candle, which represents joy! This candle is meant to remind us of the joy that the world experienced at the birth of Jesus, as well as the joy that we, the faithful, feel as we reach the midpoint of Advent.
